Korg has collaborated with the highly acclaimed virtual band Gorillaz™ to develop a new specialized beatbox for the iPad: The iELECTRIBE Gorillaz Edition.

The iELECTRIBE is a virtual analog beatbox designed for the iPad, enabling easy, enjoyable, and intuitive sound creation reminiscent of vintage analog synthesizers. Users can effortlessly select a part and manipulate the 16-step sequencer to swiftly craft rhythmic patterns. Renowned for its aggressive sound, distinctive features, and user-friendly beat construction approach, the iELECTRIBE was embraced by Gorillaz for their recent album “The Fall”.

While maintaining the user-friendly beat-making capabilities of the iELECTRIBE, the special Gorillaz Edition presents a newly customized apparatus tailored to produce Gorillaz samples derived from their fourth album “The Fall”. This version empowers users to produce music across a wide spectrum of genres. Noteworthy features of the iELECTRIBE Gorillaz Edition include: a unique design and synthesizer engine that encompasses 128 new sounds crafted by Gorillaz; and 64 preset patterns by the sound team from Gorillaz, Stephen Sedgwick, and Korg.
